Emmeline Kovacs is known to be a tenacious, bold, in-your-face woman ever since she was a child. Emmeline has an endless pit of sarcasm and crude jokes she pulls out to defuse situations from being hostile and violent. Occasionally Em has been known for her stubborn and protective nature as it can get her into fights to protect her fellow serpents. When she becomes protective she has been described as 'venomous' and a 'bitch' by several serpents and law enforcement officers. Emmeline loves thrill and openly seeks it, even if that tends to involve running drugs and weapons for the Serpents. Her temper has been labeled as explosive and extreme, like a striking cobra or a rabid dog off it's leash. Despite her ferocious bark and bite, she has a loving calm side. In her down time Emmeline can be the bubbly, fun, life of the party type. Drinking, laughing and having fun with her friends. Emmeline, especially in situations of relationships, can be unpredictable and strange. Since Emmeline doesn't openly engage in loving relationships, she can be very strange about them. Emmeline isn't scared of the thought of having a one night stand, but she openly keeps herself clean and available for a certain Serpent King, whom she aims to please.
Backstory
Emmeline Kovacs is the first daughter of a lebanese woman and a irish-american man. Emmelines' father was born and raised in Riverdale, and her mother moved into town with more than enough money for a stable life in the North side of town. Years passed and the two wound up together, having their first daughter: Emmeline. They married when Emmeline was about four years old, when her mother was actually pregnant with their second daughter: Pandora. Emmeline and Pandora grew up happy together, comfortable and spoiled by their parents. When Emmeline was about 13 years old, she met a boy by the name of Forsythe Pendleton Jones the Second, but Emmeline later labeled him as 'FP' or 'Jonesy' because she told him it was less of a mouth full. When she met the young teenager, he was fresh into the gang known as The Southside Serpents, who soon became a second family to Emmeline.
FP became Emmeline's best friend, one of the only people she openly came to and spoke with. Their friendship consisted of partying, having fun and surprisingly bonding. Emmeline, when she was about seventeen, did her initiation dance in the Whyte Wyrm in front of her best friend FP Jones and the rest of the serpents. FP being her inspiration for joining the serpents, seeing them - and especially him - as extended family. When she first joined the gang, her parents highly disapproved and tried to keep her from seeing the Jones boy, but they never truly succeeded. When Emmeline finally reached around Twenty, and FP was enlisting in the military, her parents got into a fatal plane crash that killed both of them upon impact with the Atlantic ocean. The newly orphaned Kovacs' sisters, by favor of FP, were taken in and cared for by the Serpents when he went away into the military.
While her best friend was away and she was left to her own devices, she began to prove herself to The Serpents, by doing favors for them. Running drugs, weapons, things of that nature. She became a high ranking member of the Serpents, even becoming a sort of 'right hand' with FP returned years later to resume a position in the gang, soon climbing up to the leader of the entire gang. The Serpent King. When it comes to the murder of Jason Blossom and the involvement FP had, Emmeline was actually involved in the disposal of the corpse, helping her friend for that reason - he meant a lot to her. It's true as well that when FP went away to prison, he asked her to leave town so that she wouldn't get arrested with him in helping dispose of the body, though she wasn't exactly on the video. Emmeline never did listen, waiting in Riverdale and assisting Jughead in getting his dad released from prison. Where she is, now.
